London Marathon 2024

Yen did great at her last race! She had a good time in Boston. She said she enjoyed the race, which does not always happen. She said for the first half, her and her teammate took turns going in front and creating a wind barrier (I said, "breaking wind," but Yen corrected me). Good news, Yen was not hurt! It was another injury free race. Hallelujah. The bad news is that by mile 22, her steering column came a bit loose. It wasn't dangerous. It just caused her to veer to one side. She used one hand to hold the steering column straight, and one hand to push, for four miles! And it was her second best time for the Boston Marathon! She made sure to get the steering column extra tight for the London Marathon though.

Looks like the weather will be decent.

It starts at about 3am my time. You bet I'll be tracking her progress on the app!

sounds like an extra rough 4 miles but always glad Yen is injury free especially after the concern for her wrist. I love Boston, too. Good luck in London!!
